So did we get a 4 seed? And are regionals seeded by RPI? With the 1 playing the team with the lowest RPI and the two middle teams the 2 & 3? If so, with us having a respectable RPI, it would seem to be a tough regional.

We have the lowest RPI in our regional the other 3 teams are top 30. That being said, I am real happy with going back to Starkville since we play really well there.

Game one Vs. Mississippi St. can't wait!!!

For those that haven't seen our regional is.

Mississippi St.
Central Arkansas
Mercer
South Alabama

That's crazy as some 1 seeds get teams from lower conferences with RPIs in the 100s plus!! I like it

What an opportunity. Division 1 playoffs, Mississipi State, national television.

A special thanks to the administration, coaches and players that have led UCA teams to such success and prominence.

Also, a salute to our veterans on this Memorial Day. Thanks for your service.

Just checked the ncaa.org website's final season stats:
Where UCA stands nationally -
Base on Balls: #1
Sac Bunts: #1 (Tie w/Oregon)
Walks Given up Per 9 Innings: #2
Hit By Pitch: #3
WHIP: #10
Strikeout - Walk Ratio: #11
On Base %: #12
ERA: #15

Congrats Coach Gum, the staff and the team for Representing UCA well throughout the season and we know you will make us proud in the postseason!!

Congrats to Sam Houston State for making the field...very good team..... their first game vs La-Lay should be a great ballgame...would not be surpised to see Kats win that one....

Bears and Bulldogs might really surprise people who only read the adg....both will have a lot to play for.....no one will pick UCA to win this regional and many would not be suprised if they do....hard road ahead...every game has to be very good...
