From the LCD today: Quote: BATESVILLE — Kirk Kelley, the associate baseball coach at the University of Central Arkansas since 2011, has been named the head football coach at Lyon College and tasked with fielding the first program for the Scots since 1951.
Lyon will begin intercollegiate play in 2015. Kelley started the Lyon baseball program from scratch in 1992 and led the Scots to 595 victories and three NAIA regional tournaments. |

Congrats to Coach Kelley!! He is a great coach. Not a bad time to go looking for a new pitching coach, considering the recent success and some good young talent to work with. It will be very interesting to see who Coach Gum brings in. |
