The last two series could really see some changes in the top and bottom of the standings.... Current standings and who they play: TAMCC 17-7; H vs LU and @ SHS SHS 16-8; @ HBU and H vs TAMCC MSU 16-8; H vs SELA and @ NSU NSU 16-8; @ SFA (8-16) and H vs MSU NWS 15-9; H vs UNO and @ SELA SELA 14-10; @ MSU and H vs NSU LU 13-11; @ TAMCC and @ ORU ORU 12-12; H vs LU and H vs Abilene (5-13) UCA 11-13; H vs UIW and @ UNO (2-22) HBU 11-13; H vs SHS and H vs SFA There are still a lot of teams who in theory who can win the conference. If Bears win out we would be 17-13. To tie with TAMCC, the Islanders have to lose out....that means SHS would have at least 19 wins and beat Bears out.....guess that means Bears cannot be 1st.... TAMCC...3-3 would not be out of the quesiton which puts them at 20-10.... SHS has a good shot at 4-2 to end up 20-10 McNeese could go 3-3 and be 19-9 Nicholls has a pretty good shot at 5-1 which puts them at 21-9 or 4-2 to end at 20-10 NWS also has a good shot to go 5-1 to finish 20-10 SELA has a pretty tough road ands maybe be 2-4 to end at 16-14 Lamar could go 3-3 to end 16-14 ORU is set up to go 5-1 and be 17-13 HBU has a good setup for 4-2 to end 15-15 Still way too many possibilties...but Bears need to win at least 5 to have a solid chance to advance......go 4-2 and probably not.... we do not stack up well in tiebreakers for teams likely to be near us.... |
