CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears open the 2017 baseball season Friday with a three-game series against the Evansville Purple Aces. Game time for Friday's opener is 3 p.m. at Bear Stadium, followed by games at 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday |

16-9 good guys in bottom of the 8th. Evansville has gone through a lot of pitchers and has four errors. 12 hits for the Bears |
