It is with sadness that I report a former UCA Bear football player, Robin Prock, passed away at the age of 47 on July 14th.. He played with the Bears from 1993 - 1996 on defense. His love for the game was passed onto his two sons who played and still play for Conway High (Parker and Preston). He coached Optimist club football with the youth of Conway and always had that smile and laugh that made you feel good. As a family friend for decades, he always had time to chat about football and life in general. Great guy. He gave my son some words of encouragement just days before passing. For that I am forever grateful. (Sorry, I'm still trying to comprehend this even after a few weeks...my heart is broken) |
