According to a hoops website, former Bear, Mark Rutledge, is in the running for a head coaching job in the Lone Star Conference (NCAA D2) "I have heard that Zoom’s have started at D2 Western New Mexico. It sounds like 7-8 coaches will be interviewed. Some names that I’ve heard include current WNMU assistant Jared Blake, Angelo State assistant Mark Rutledge, Texas A&M assistant Omar Gonzalez, and two current JUCO head coaches.
