That's pretty good.

Try to beat that, Anthony Gambles.

I was wondering how he could get 113 yards then I learned a CFL field is 110 yards long and that means he caught the ball 3 yards deep and ran it back! Geez..I bet most players would be tired after that half mile run... Way to go TJ!

I watched the recap of TriJacks last game when he got "rocked" and coughed up that return that allowed the other team to score on a little 15 yard or less fumble recovery. He walked off that field PIXXED ! That showed on his next return... 8)

Tristan is still tearing things up in the CFL.
Yesterday he signed a contract extension through 2011.

No stoppin' Jackson
Quote:
They tried the pooch kick, but the greyhound picked it up anyway.

With a four-point lead, the Calgary Stampeders tried booting a kickoff away from dynamic Edmonton Eskimos returner Tristan Jackson.

But Jackson sprinted up for the short kickoff, bobbled it, then went 35 yards to set up the game-winning score last night as the Eskimos beat the Stamps 38-35 at Commonwealth Stadium.

"We knew coming in it's a chore to handle him," said Stamps head coach John Hufnagel.

"They did get the one big return, and we tried to do that safe kick and they still get the big return. We have to do better.

"It's a bitter pill to swallow. It's very disappointing to lose that way, and we have to get better."

The late kickoff return came after Jackson took back a fourth-quarter punt 71 yards to set up another touchdown.

But the Stamps defence didn't come up big when it needed to either, allowing the Eskimos to get a go-ahead touchdown after both plays.

Kick Return
Code:
Name              No.  Yards   Avg     Long  TD
JACKSON, T        29    589    20.3    56    0

Ranks 2nd in kick return yardage.

Punt Return
Code:
Name              No.  Yards   Avg     Long  TD
JACKSON, T        34    410    12.1    0     1

Leads CFL in punt return yardage. Leads in average for any one who has more than 3 returns. One of only two players to have a return for a TD.

What kind of money would a player like TJ make in the CFL?

Eskimos' return whiz 'fearless'

Quote:
"I think Edmonton was very smart in signing him to a contract extension. I think he's one of the best I've seen in my six years up here. He's fast, he's strong, he's fearless and he has great vision. He's as good as you're going to go against."

It would be fantastic if some of our guys in Canada could stay healthy.
Tristan impressed a lot of people his rookie year, but I'd imagine that he's slowly drifting off the radar.

The season ends tomorrow for Tristan.
After making the move to Saskatchewan this year, Tristan got back to the way he played a few years ago in Edmonton (before the injuries). Too bad the Riders were a bad team.

He was second on the team with 69 tackles.
He had 1 forced fumble and 1 interception.
He was their main punt returner (49 for 377 yards), but his averages weren't great.
He was also one of the guys back for kick returns (19 for 486, long of 75).

Rider Report Card from The Regina Leader-Post
Not a lot of good things to say about the team, but
Quote:
Moving forward, though, the defensive backfield has a lot of solid prospects with players like Craig Butler and Tristan Jackson.
...
The Roughriders haven't gotten any return touchdowns either, but players like Tristan Jackson and Brandon West have provided a spark. With a special teams group that was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2010, it was refreshing to see the group stay out of trouble this season.

Here's what he is probably most known for this season:
