From an interview for the 501 Football 2008 Preview back in August:

“I want to go out my senior year on a positive note,” Brown said. “And to do that, it means getting a ring.”

He did that indeed. Congrats again to Brown and the UCA Bears on a memorable 2008 season.

Seeing Nathan's name mentioned as a....a.....former player...reminds me of how I felt when Hosea Knowlton earned that title....like a kick to the stomach....

Is it just me or am I the only one who loves seeing the old footage of the Bears whipping Arkansas Tech. I miss the good ole days.

Well deserved in both cases...different eras and different styles but both were exciting and great onfield leaders and I got to see both play!!!!

32. Tennessee Titans: Nathan Brown, QB, Central Arkansas

Nathan Brown would be a perfect pick for the Titans. He is a small school quarterback like recent quarterback Joe Flacco who has all the talent in the world. Another fast riser in this year’s draft, Brown will soon be a household name. With good accuracy and arm strength, he shoud surprise people with his ability.

That's the 32nd pick of the first round. Pretty high praise from some Web site I've never heard of...

Anything above 4 would be great...1st round would be fabulous....a serious Dallas Cowboy fan today (30 year ticket holder) told me that he thought Brown would make a great 2nd behind Romo..... I had no idea he even knew who Nathan Brown was..I told him NB is 10x the leader that Romo shows....."Mike and Mike" last week talked about this very thing..it is not the great arms that make great NFL QBs..it is the smarts and leadership ability.....someone will get a real bargain if they get NB in the 5+ round.....just hope he goes somewhere there is an o-line and he can take a year or two to learn his way ......

Stafford and Bradford the only QBs this guy has going in front of Nate. Interesting. I wouldn't complain. And the Titans could become the new team for UCA fans with Ford and Brown. But I guess we'll see how it pans out...

Yesterday, someone asked me what Nathan Brown's major was, and I've never known, does anyone know?
