http://www.ucasports.com/news/2014/12/10/GEN_1210144732.aspx Congrats to these four athletes for their contributions to UCA on and off the field. Most of us are well aware of Eddie Camara as one of our top placekickers. To the contrary most have probably never seen the others compete......Manuel Montal from Men's Soccer and two track team sprinters..Jasmine Johnson and Tanesha Maxwell. All were major contributors to their respective teams as well as taking care of the classroom work. I will long remember Maxwell running in a track meet at Fayetteville surrounded by SEC and Big 12 sprinters and she was right in the midst, even advancing to the semi finals before being edged out narrowly for a spot in the finals. |
