To whom it may concern:

Okay, I really REALLY would like to give UCA some more of my money and buy some great apparel. Anything. I'll take a frisbee, even.

But seriously, I know there is a ton of stuff in the Bookstore for sale, but very little is available online, & I just don't get to Conway that much.

I've got like 15 Razorback shirts and only 2 good UCA shirts. Now, I'm trying to be a balanced fan here, but that means I have to wash my UCA shirts like every few days. And they're starting to fade. Lavender is NOT one of the official school colors.......

Sorry guys, I just wanted to rant. I wanna show my BEAR PRIDE, and I'm willing to spend a little money to do it (well, okay I'm still a broke grad student, but why is UA stuff so cheap & UCA stuff so expensive?)

Is there anything I, as a loving alumnus, can do to increase the availability of UCA merchandise?

I feel your pain! Living in Memphis, it is very hard to get down to Conway on a regular basis and stop by the bookstore in order to pay way too much for a t-shirt! The bookstore does need to step it up, but in a few days there will be an even better site:http://www.bear-country.com/catalog/

I hope their stuff is good.

Did you know that if you click the "Contact" link at the bottom of that page, it brings you to a page with a sidebar showing the different categories of stuff the site offers. Each of the category links works, so maybe this is a preview of what's to come? Prices are also listed :D :D 8)

A-SATC is really making an honest attempt to make this a good thing for Bear fans to have a reliable place to go to for UCA "stuff". Pretty sure he will have some pictures to go with the merchandise before he opens up. Once he is "open" we need to support him and get the word out. I'm sure he has had to go thru a lot of legal mumbo jumbo to get this thing going so let's make sure we don't let him down!

yeah, the owner of that site is one of our own here on the board, I'm sure if you talk to him, he can answer any questions you might have. I'm looking forward to the grand opening.

LOL, I had assumed noone was snooping around over there anymore and made the mistake of placing active links on the home page :) oops

So long as you guys are looking around, lemme know what you think.

Frisbees! Yes! And footballs, maybe?

You're about to get a lot of my money, buddy ;)

But seriously, thanks for being the "trailblazer" for UCA gear. I'll be sure to talk up the site when it opens. It looks pretty good so far.

Let me know if you need any "product testers" :P

I've read somewhere that those things can sometimes pay for themselves.
