I think you're either denying the points I make or your saying I'm off the subject, but I can't tell which.

I wonder if it packed a doggy bag and went on about his way LOL!!!!!

The article doesn't say what the WWII vet at the hospital thinks every time a helicopter lands on the roof.
Do these people pack up and leave town every 4th of July?
What about New Years Eve? I've lived in places (California) where it was a custom to shoot a gun in the air at the stroke of 12 on this holiday.
I think even if they go to the "Bear Growl" after the scores, these folks will still find cause to gripe. That will scare their animals into thinking it's a bear attack.
I remember growing up, we had a beagle hound that would lie on the front porch. Every time we watched the movie "Where The Red Fern Grows", that dog would start to howl. We thought it was funny.
One more thing: Remember the UAPB game, where the National Guardsmen would fire the cannon after the scores? War Memorial sits next to a zoo and a golf course. Go figure.

GO BEARS!!!

I'm more concerned about the effect of the booms on the migration of the bavarian tree frog....it can be devistating to such a small creature....

..........whatever

Personally, I've trained my bavarian tree frog to ignore the loud noises. It took some time, but it was well worth the effort. My frog makes a great hunting companion now :D

Funny you should mention that about the migration pattern of the Bavarian tree frog. I've noticed after games where the Bears have a high score resulting in lots of booms per game (bpg), there's higher incidents of frog/car encounters (splats) in areas that are known to be migration crossings of Bavarian tree frogs. Mathematically, there is a direct correlation between high-scoring games and Bavarian tree frogs mashed on the pavement. Basically, a formula has been derived thus: bpg=splats.

I miss the fireworks and want them back. But when they DO return...don't get rid of that awesome new crazy bear on screen. That thing is ferocious and I love it. But please.....bring back the fireworks.
