This would be a one-time non-recurring bonus, if the fall overall enrollment came in at an acceptable increase over last year. A raise would be the preference but we will appreciate an one-time bonus. Our last raise was in 2010. |

With all due respect bearbrothers- a lot of people in the private sector haven't received a pay raise in a long time either... and with a lot of companies laying off workers (hawker, Weatherford, LM Windpower- this month alone) sometimes it's just nice that your name isn't on the list. Tell me Bearsbrother has UCA gone through any Work Force reductions in the past 2-3 years? Don't get me wrong I love a good payraise when deserved, but when the rest of the economy isn't doing so well? |

If a UCA employee is unhappy about not getting paid like a private sector employee...guess what they can do? Yeah...get a private sector job. I learned that at UCA. |

Bonuses, raises, cola - some kind of money is better than no money. What we should be pissed about is the person/persons who crawfished on the weight room construction. Saddling the university with a $750,000 debt after pledging to offer to finance the building but then backing out - pretty low, imo. |
