most of you dont care I realize, so bear with me, but this is big news to me at least, no matter how old it might be!

OU Transfer Plumley Joins Lady Cardinals Basketball
Will be eligible to play for Lamar in 2009-10 season

BEAUMONT, Texas - Lamar University women's basketball coach Larry Tidwell announced the addition of Jenna Plumley to the Lady Cardinals basketball team today.

Plumley, a 5-4 guard from Red Rock, Okla. comes to Lamar after two strong seasons at Oklahoma. She started 41 games in her career, averaging 6.5 points 2.7 assists per game in 63 games played. As a sophomore she stared all 31 games for OU, passing out 107 assists and led the Sooners in 3-pointers made and attempted, knocking down 64-of-202 from behind the arc...

Great another high profile OU athlete who did something wrong, in this case shoplifting approx. $34 worth of cosmetics from a Wal-Mart in Norman I believe, and ends up in the SLC!...She had been suspended for the season by OU after being caught .

Actually, it was $34.65 – I think that just put it over the top.


And then there's this quote from Coale:

“There had been ongoing concerns with Jenna that culminated in a meeting within the last two weeks,” Coale said in a July 18 statement, four days after Plumley’s being charged. “During that meeting a plan was outlined for what our program expected from her. She has not met those expectations.”
