Lake Charles, LA- After a thrilling home opening win against Delta State Saturday night, the McNeese State Athletic Department started this week off with another exciting victory. The “8 in ‘08” season ticket campaign came to an end Saturday night, and when the dust cleared, the total landed at 8,009.

“What a tremendous accomplishment,” stated Athletic Director Tommy McClelland. “I want to thank everyone involved in making the "8 in '08" campaign the most successful season ticket campaign in McNeese sports history. This was a group effort and took everyone maximizing their efforts. I also want to thank all of the season tickets holders. From the brand new season ticket holders, to our veterans, who helped out by buying an extra ticket or two, this is a direct reflection of the support and loyalty Southwest Louisiana residents have for McNeese State.”

Even though season ticket sales are technically over, the athletic department is still offering ticket packages to those interested individuals. The Cowboys “Triple Option” ticket package is now available to those fans that have not purchased season tickets.

The “Triple Option” package will provide fans with the opportunity to purchase the same ticket for three of the remaining home games. The prices for the new mini plan packages are $51 for reserved ticket sections, $42 for adult general admission, and $18 for children general admission tickets.

“The mini-plan holders will have the some of the same benefits as season ticket holders. Most importantly, they will be able to have the same seat for three games, and not have to wait in line on game days,” said McClelland.
