I might be in the minority here but I disagree with the pairings in the way they are set up. The SLC AQ is having to travel to Montana to play the Big Sky at large selection, Montana, that placed second in their conference. It seems as if the SLC reps have had to travel to the land of tundra several times over the past few years. Doesn't seem quite right to me.

Out of the first eight playoff games four AQs have to travel to at large team's home fields. One game, Maine vs. N. Iowa - both are at large teams.Got two AQs playing each other in the first round - S. Car. St. vs. App. St. Four teams out of 16 from the CAA.

I don't know about all of that. But, if your Conference sends it's 2nd team scabs to the playoffs, you reap what you sow.

Congratulations to the Texas State Bobkitties on their 2nd place finish in the SLC this year and their 3rd winning season in the past 16 years.

And their 1st round @ss-kicking.

That's what you call a dynasty.

Attendance at today's games:

So. Car. St. at App. St. -- 13,712

Wofford at James Madison -- 12,826

Maine at No. Iowa -- 8,477

Colgate at Villanova -- 4,489

N. Hampshire at So. Ill. -- 5,461

Texas St. at Montana -- 19,489

Weber St. at Cal-Poly -- 6,919

E. Kentucky at Richmond -- 2,994

For the FCS selection committee - maybe you guys need to find a day job. Rather pathetic that you come up with a formula for playing sites that won't even draw 10,000 people for a playoff game. Only three out of the eight games surpassed that mark. Nice job of promotion.

I'm surpised that SIU did not draw more than 5500.....Salukis are pretty popular and it ain't like the Illini are tearing things up.....Montana loves their football...guess huntin season must be over .......big crowd was not to see the Bobcats....I would hope we would have put 11,000+ in Estes.....
