 Post subject: Spring Meeting concludes

The SLC just sent out a release after the spring meeting. Here is one of the things that stood out to me:

Men’s and women’s teams will only be permitted to play a maximum of three non-Division I opponents in 2010-11 and two such teams in 2011-12. Basketball teams are currently allowed to play the NCAA maximum of four non-Division I opponents.

Great move.

Great for us fans and is a good attempt to improve conference RPI.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think out of the 10 wins by the men this past year, four of them were against less than D1 programs. Appears we will have to step it up a notch next year and two notches the second year to match our win total from this past year.

This is referring to basketball not football.
