Williams did say that the schedule will be a tough and challenging one said the Cowgirls will open the season at UCLA in the preseason WNIT as well as road games at preseason No. 1 Baylor and defending National Champions Texas A&M. The Tigers have made 12 consecutive NCAA Tournaments and five consecutive Final Four appearances (2004-08) and are ranked #20 in one preseason poll.

I guess Louisiana will come apart at the seams with LSU going to a "lesser" school to play....Geaux CowGirls....... |

Got to give LSU some credit - they do make the 'rounds' in women's hoops. Prior to reclassification of New Orleans, they'd flip-flop going to Tulane or New Orleans annually. So, they were an annual guest to the Crescent City. They also played Nicholls last year and have also played a few other teams. Think La Tech is pretty consistent foe for them as well in home-and-home. |
