Watching all of these championship games on the ESPNs, I really think that the SLC needs to rethink the idea of a neutral site tournament. It looks A LOT better on TV to have a great home crowd rather than a half full neutral site arena. It also rewards the top seed for having a great regular season!

Only problem with the top seed getting the tourney is that reservations and pr for the tourney have to made weeks, if not months, in advance. Being on the edge of outer space in this conference we will never even get close to hosting the tourney.

What conference were you watching that had games on campus?

The one that comes to mind was Vermont @ Stony Brook. I do know that most are at neutral locations and that is all well and good for the larger conferences where the fans travel well. However, for the smaller conferences I think home sites produce a better atmosphere. However, I have to say that the Southland men's final didn't look too bad on ESPN2 with all of the Lamar fans.
