SLC Games:

UCA v Bacone College
Lamar at Hawaii
#19 McNeese State at Weber State
Nicholls State at Tulsa..could be ugly....
Northwestern State at Nevada...maybe even uglier....
#2 Sam Houston State at Baylor..shoud be interesting game to watch
SELA at UT-Martin (9/13)
#23 SFA at #3 Montana State..maybe best FCS game of the week

Regional Games of Interest:

UAPB at Alcorn State
Murray State at Missouri State
Eastern Illinois at #15 Illinois State
Rice at La Tech...should be good game with plenty o fpoints...Terry B should be howling
Arkansas State at Nebraska...Gus gets a real test....
La-Monroe at Auburn
La-Lafayette at Oklahoma State
Texas at Ole Miss..will see if Rebs have really stepped up after handling UTEP

We actually dropped to #26 in the rankings, Sam Houston also moved down one spost to #2.... Not sure how SFA is still ranked after they threw 7 interceptions, and fumbled three times..... that is 10 turnovers against SMU!!! yikes!

How is it possible that we dropped in the poll after a convincing victory over a team receiving a high number of votes?

Granted that the Sagarin BCS formua does not count for FCS playoffs, but we moved up 18 places and well ahead of SFA. Two games is not deep but Sagarin is pretty accurate in predicting games.

I cannot imagine how anyone voting in the FCS polls could move us down based on win over Murray State.

NW St leads Nevada 13-10 late in the 1st half. :shock:

Nicholls is getting drilled by Tulsa 42-9 at the half.

No one in Top 25 lost other than to BCS team except for App State who lost to ranked Citadel. Unranked Eastern Illinois will liikely get lots more votes this week after a near upset of #15 Illinois State in 2 OTs on the road.

Bears need to beat Sam to get into Top 25 at this stage.
