Good Post Bear Country, I too have wondered if Sam will be competitive next year, they will still have Flanders and Sincere, but I believe we may see more competition from Mcneese and (gulp) Southeastern Louisianna.

In the meantime I hope Sam runs the table and helps Southland increase exposure. We need it with the addition of the IW, ACU, and HBU... Now if the privateers of new Orleans would sponsor football that would be one hell of a roadtrip... Crawfish, shrimp, bourbon, French quarters, and of course a W....

That's a bunch of seniors to lose, but with Flanders and Sincere returning I
am not feeling sorry for them.

Sam does lose some talent next year, particularly on defense, but trust me they will be MUCH more than "competitive".

They will be the team to beat with QB, RB, and Sincere returning along with several starters. Additionally, they have recruited well the past few years, as we have, and have played tons of players due to the number of blowouts they have had.

No tears for Kats......an average team with Flanders and Sincere will be plenty good.....as prior post notes they likely have loads of talent waiting to play...SLC could be really very good next year......UCA and UCA look to be solid plus SELA made big strides and McNeese will be back...SFA always dangerous....
