With the eighth pick of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, the Royals selected shortstop Hunter Dozier out of Stephen F. Austin. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound junior hit .396 with 17 home runs this season, exhibiting solid power and a strong arm. |
