Bob Knight resigned from TTU effective today per ESPN with 902 career wins and 42 years in coaching. His son Pat takes over as head coach for last 10 games. ESPN reports Knight is headed to Little Rock to meet up with old pal Jerry McKinnis for a fishing trip.......Knight followed UCA's James Dickey as Red Raiders coach in 2001....it was odd last weekend watching on TV as TTU and Ok State played in Lubbock and many of the NCAA banners in the gym were from James' tenure as RR coach yet there he was on the sideline of the Cowboys (again)... GoBears!! |
