Pretty awesome ending to the men's game last night. They got quite a bit of free nationwide publicity too during and after the game. |

Yeah, big congrats to them. I'm a huge fan of the mid-major school 30 miles away doing awesome. That helps us tremendously. |

Haha. I thought the same thing. Last night I immediately went to their website to see how many of those guys were seniors to see how many spots they also need to fill. I think they had five. Not good. Regardless, the ending was awesome and they got tons of pub. Even if it's not good for us. |

Congrats to my dad's Alma Mater! I use to be a UALR fan and go to a lot of their games as a kid. Free throws and a couple clutch shots at the end made for a heck of an ending. I hope they do well. |

Good for UALR teams...it is a different day in Arkansas basketball......just wait unilt both SBs and Bears are hitting on all cylinders....should be great competition some day....hope they do well in tourney.... |

UALR winning is a double edged sword for UCA. Yeah, it might hurt recruiting slightly. The good news is that this probably keeps Shields around for a while.  They are going to struggle next year. Honestly, they weren't very good this year but they got hot at the right time, got some timely shots and a lot of breaks in the tournament the way it played out. That's what makes conference tournaments fun. |

Still think it would do wonders for basketball in Arkansas to have a men's and women's preseason tourney with ASU, UALR, UAPB and UCA....the old AIC was great basketball competition and this would be also.... |

UALR women drew UWGB 32-1. Pretty impressive record with win over Minnesota and lopsided victories over Wisconsin and Penn St. Their only loss was to in state Marquette on the road. |
