Being on the road in LR area today I was honored to listen to the The Show with No Name and Drive Time Sports and all the discussion on the "next coach". It got me to thinking, what every caller was really saying is that anyone who wants to compete on the Big Stage has to hire The Next Nick Saban.

So who is The Next Nick Saban? Anyone want to offer up?

Mack Brown? He may not even be the Next Coach at Texas...

Bill Snyder ...for those not informed he is the coaching master at Kansas State who has brought the Wildcats (with all the recruiting advantages of Manhatten, KS) in two different stints to Top 10 ranking on a regular basis...of course, at age 73 he may not want to coach the next decade...

Mike Gundy...really???

Derek Dooley ...great pedigree....will he coach Vols next year?

Steve Spurrier.....great football guy..think we have seen what he can do with stints at Florida and SC...
