I agree with HoneyBear- If ULM hadnt decimated the Piggies then the advertisers would have continued to invest. Sad for a small business to go under, but I for one didnt check the site very often, due to the smaller amount of coverage UCA and other non Fayetteville schools got. |

I agree 100%...it seems that advertisers think that only pig fans buy goods and services. I personally never buy anything from anybody that only sponsor the hogs and make it a point to support the ones who support the BEARS... |

But Mattingly has nothing to do with AS360. I think two different changes are being lumped together here. ArkansasSports360.com closed down Friday night at 11:59pm. Bo Mattingly has announced that his radio show is switching stations in central Arkansas from the Buzz (who will now air a show hosted by Matt Jones and Trey Schaap) to 93.3 where Wess Moore is. |

Sam Walton had the right idea in marketing and sales. He set up stores in places other big box stores wouldn't. If AS360 chose to advertise with the majority of ads slanted toward the pig market and now that market is down, then they put all their eggs in one basket it's their own fault. But I'm not so sure that the drop off could happen that fast to hurt that site that fast. I loved the fact they actually covered UCA and I hope those writers get gigs, but that site was pig dominant even on the UCA page. Best of luck to them.

I've noticed that the hog zone on KARK on Sun. at 5:50pm is no longer showing. Been about three weeks since the show disappeared from that time slot. Strange. |

NWA TV station had Bo on an interview, apparently about the radio show, while the reporter was talking about 360.....I never paid any attention to either..... |
