Is always changing, but looks like there could be two huge moves coming up this week!

That's just two of the ones looking or getting looked at in the FCS landscape. We'll see how this all shakes out. Don't be suprised about it because it happens every few years... question is WHEN not why...

These are the two moves I had been hoping to see for a long time. James Madison, Liberty, a couple of Southland teams and apparently Missouri State are all interested in moving to FBS as well. MSU hasn't announced it but they are said to be spending something like $40 million on football stadium improvements and they wouldn't be doing that to stay FCS.

Sounds like there may be new pressure for schools like MSU to seek FBS status soon. If the FBS splits and forms a new division as they appear to be doing, there could be a stipend for athletes in the new division. If that comes to pass, it could really hurt a basketball, baseball, volleyball, etc. program that plays FCS football. It was the FCS programs who allegedly voted largely against the prospect of a stipend for athletes. Schools like MSU, Creighton, Gonzaga, etc. with strong basketball programs would have a hard time recruiting against any program in FBS if they cannot offer a payment and the FBS program offers $4K a year.

Shouldn't make a huge difference to FCS football programs.
