Terrible.....new story this afternoon talked about drugs in the house.....must be more to the story but does not mean the young man was involved in any of that....condolences to the Red Wolves.... |

Markel was in his 4th year and was very well liked. Police are saying he is a hero. Two men followed his stepfather home and robbed them and Markel tried to protect his mother and was killed. I don't know why an article mentions that marijuana was found in his parents' home. That is not really a big surprise in this country and not really newsworthy. The juniors and seniors on this team have been through more tragedy than most teams. |

Possible motivation for the crime. Not saying he had anything to do with it, but more like he was a victim of it. Sad. Just sad. |
