Browsing around I saw where HSU signed 60 players to their 2014
Recruiting class. Just wondering how this is possible. The Reddies are
A D2 program and are limited I believe to 35 scholarships. Taking in
Consideration to players already on the team it is very hard to fathom
how this is done. The math just doesn't add up to me and given the success
Of the program over the past few years it would seem to raise a red flag.

Anybody got an explanation that makes sense? Maybe I'm jumping to
A conclusion or I am missing the obvious. Just seems weird to me. :wtf:

I was curious so I checked...they list 114 players on the roster already.

Probably split and partial scholarships. May have had additional scholarships open up due to upperclassmen not returning, etc.

So basically they are handing out $200 and calling them scholarships.

Just because a player signs does not actually mean they are receiving any scholarship money. They could've technically signed 60 walk ons.
