A former assistant at Nicholls for six years, Rebowe will become the 10th head coach in the program's history. He has spent the past 11 years as an assistant at Louisiana. Rebowe was an assistant at Nicholls from 1995-2000, then spent three years at Louisiana-Monroe before his 11-year stint at Louisiana. Allen's contract expired after Saturday's regular-season finale at Northern Iowa. Missouri State had a 4-8 record this season - after a 3-1 start - and was 37-64 under Allen.
