Just what every player at FCS and D2 dreams of is making the team that wins the Super Bowl. Malcolm Butler not only does that as a rookie undrafted free agent out of West Alabama but makes three huge plays on Seattle's last drive for what would have been the winning score. Butler first broke up a key pass early in the drive, then broke up the pass at the Pats 5 which was caught by Kearse on the ground after juggling the ball but Butler had the presence of mind to get up and tackle Kessre to avoid the winningg TD. Then Butler jumps the pick route for an INT to seal the win for NE. Butler is from Vicksburg and then Hinds CC before West Alabama. |
