Seen that play so many times, you just expect him to make it. He has got to have some of the best body control/hand/eye coordination I have ever seen. Can't wait to see the game. I think he is in the East West Shrine game also. What a player

Looking at the South roster...Dez is the biggest WR listed at 6-3, 215
Didn't get to see the game...anybody got the scoop on his performance?

He had 3 catches for around 40 yards. Made one play where he leaped over a defender and snagged it on the sideline.

The announcers seemed to think pretty highly of him

He also recovered a fumbled fair catch which was ruled "not a fumble" because now days a punt returner has the first right to catch a muffed punt that goes straight up in the air. I'd never heard of that rule. It's supposed to be for safety of the returner. In my time, if you muffed a punt, you'd get hammered!

Anyway, looks like Dez had a great day.

That's good to hear. I think DEZ will be the former Bear
that's drafted the highest. I say 3rd round.

The Bears have some pretty amazing groups of receivers from '10 on

Croom, Grandy, Dez, Soft, Dixon TE

Dez, Smith, Whitehead, Wilson, Watts

I'm sure I left some off (not intentional); I don't remember any team we faced FBS or otherwise that had us outclassed at the WR spot. Smith should be special next year with Jatavious getting better as well. Whitehead is a big kid with tons of potential IMO, hope he puts it together. I also think Blake Gardner is a very talented guy in the slot, smooth & quick.

Good passing offense should continue for the Bears

Dez leads South receivers with 3/59.....next was Lockett from K-State with 3/48....in fact, only Abdullah from Nebraska playing on North had more catches (4) but he had only 40 yards....

Dez also had a KO return for 18 yards....
