Well........I guess I'll break the news. Looks like we got a commitment from a former 5 STAR wide receiver from OU (Oklahoma). He was with the class of 2019 and played with present day NFL QB Jalen Hurts who was the OU quarterback in 2019. Has some negative history behind him but I'm a firm believer in second chances. Especially when the bad decisions were made as a youth. We needed a big time WR to replace the production that left last year. I believe the top three receivers from last year's squad are all gone. Excited to see where this new guy might fit.

I hope he makes a big impact! I just hope any bad influences stay away from him. I'm curious how much of a drop-off he could have with doing some time. While he may have more heart, I wonder if he is as crisp as he was when at Oklahoma.

So it looks like he went through a scared straight type program and got a year probation (see article below). And he's coming from having played JUCO ball since leaving Oklahoma so from what I can tell, no drop off.
