One more road game before coming back home. Have to come back home at 2-2 or the stadium will be empty and our playoff chances will be gone!

As has been said, we've got to play two halves of football. If we played like we did in the 2nd half for the whole game, we would have won.

MUST find a consistent running game. Matthews is NOT the answer

Have to get a running attack quickly.....it has to be the blocking schemes or execution ...or we are showing our hand on runs.....our RBs are small but quick and need creases.....for some reason we are not getting much room....if no running game, we have to be better with screens of all kinds....and use the TEs more.....Dixon is a TE but we use him a lot in slot ....59 net rushng yards on 21 carries...

Winston had 11 tackles, Love had 10 and Heard had 9....Gaines has 1.5 sacks...

I think the Fans including myself, the trainers, coaches, and The Bears, needs an intense appointment with coach Briscoe.

Briscoe has never impressed me. I think he is a big part of the problem.

Great game guys nice to see you guys bring a few fans which is a few more than most all the OVC teams bring. My only complaint was the pass interference calls on us. That really hurt our D because there was clearly no PI especially the one that happened in the endzone.

I gotta be honest skyhawks. I really thought our Bears would roll in there, and roll right over you guys. Boy was I wrong. I think our players thought that too, and severely underestimated your team. UTM must be pretty good this year, I sure hope they are, and they win the OVC. That will take some sting out of this loss.

As our coach says we aren't the prettiest team but man we have huge heart. If we could recruit like you guys or other schools we could be amazingly good hopefully the new stadium will help things out in that regard. Glad that we play you guys the next few years it should be a fun series. Good luck and win out so it'll make our win look even better and we'll try and win out as well.

Just my opinion, but we don't run the ball enough to be a good running team. Teams that run the ball commit to that & stay after it. You look in the paper at game stats to see the number of rushes running teams avg. per game & then look at ours & you see a big difference. In my opinion we run just enough to keep the defense honest. It's who we are and the results show we are pretty darn good offensive team. Been watching Bear games for 3 1/2 years and we have not changed. Like it or not, we are who we are & been to the second round of the playoffs 2 years in a row. I believe both coaches & players know we should have won this game & has nothing to do with our scheme. I look for us to come out very intense & physical Saturday. [-X

In 1979 my junior year with the Bears, we came out of our non-conf.
Schedule 3-0. Went down to UAM to open the conf. Schedule. Phil Caldwell
Returned the opening kickoff 102 yards for a TD. UP 7-0 we didn't cross the
50 yard line the rest of the game and got whipped 35-7. We were not
Emotionally ready to play. My point is, when you are dealing with kids
It's hard to motivate them or get them to understand the importance
Of each and every game. To have a sense of urgency and to be mentally
Ready to play when the whistle blows. Coaches can sense this but can't
Always get the teams attention.

This team, like all teams needs leadership from within...the seniors need to
Step up and take care of the teams mental state

I agree with Tbear...I believe the BEARS will be focused come sat.
