Looking back. Illinois State played NDSU close with a loss of 9-3. That being said. Illinois State seems to be better in the post season than during the regular season. Regardless. UCA has a way to go still as far as a National Championship contender.

Could say that about all FCS teams not named North Dakota State or James Madison.

Yes, you are right. At the same time, I am still very thankful to see UCA where it is. They have been very consistent.
