Maybe it is of no meaning what so ever but playing against all 3 of the players in high school Cursh was always in trouble maybe not always with the police but with his coaches alot, and Vanhook did get into some trouble himself. Stueart kind of flew under the radar but he is a better athlete than his playing time showed last year so any of these 3 being out for the season would be good for us and the other GSC teams and really bad news for Tech.

I can confirm that Cursh is indeed the Foreman man. I am good friends with a couple of guys on the Tech team, so they gave me this information first hand. I don't know about the Prescott guy, but Van Hook has been practicing with the Wonder Boys, so I doubt he's one of them. Haven't heard about Flemons or Stueart.

that's too bad. I wonder if this suspension wil lbe a one year only thing or if he is permanently off the team? Has their coach addressed the media about any of this yet?

As far as I know, Mullins hasn't said anything. I'm from Russellville, so I'll keep ya'll posted if something about it comes out in the Courier or anything.

cool. I figured with it being semi common knowledge now and with practicesstarting up or almost starting up, he will have to address the issue at some point in time.

I understand the Cedric Cursh situation has been resolved and that he will be available this fall. Was told by a UCA coach late Friday night when he stopped for gas at the Bucksnort General Store. Apparently Cursh had some serious grade problems, among OTHER things.

Good news for Tech, bad news for the rest of the league.

How in the world was he able to get out of trouble considering he was found with the items they stole? Wow...

Darn good question....I guess he knows people in low places.

Talked to a Tech player tonight at a party that I grew up with. He said that as far as he knows, Cursh still isn't going to play this year. He said Cursh got into a lot more trouble than the article lets on about.

FWIW, the Prescott guy was Jason Butler.

Your information may be better than mine....like I said I got it from one of the UCA coaches.
I guess we will just have to kick back and see what happens.

It would help if Coach Mullins would say anything at all about it. He's doing a good job about keeping quiet on the matter.

If I were him, I would too, I don't think I would make it common knowledge yet as to if he is or isn't playing. Although I would think someone goes to watch tech practice or play would be able to see if he was on the field or not. Or do they report on tech stuff in R'ville?
