I got to visit #67 Josh Restum this morning at Conway Regional Medical Center. When I walked into his room he showed me a big smile and was in good spirits :) Josh was engaged in a block and two of the Bears fell on top of him and suffered a broken leg. Josh said " this is not what I had in mind, and it could have been worse." Josh will go far in sports and in life. Josh also said " we have to work with what we got." I'm glad to say that I've met Josh and he is a fine young man. If you can, your prayers are much needed at a time like this. I would appreciate it very much,

Go, Go, Fight Bears

That is terrible what happened to Josh. I know you have to have these types of scrimmages to get ready for the season but didn't Michael Norvell get hurt in a preseason scrimmage a couple years ago? This is just one of those things that you have no control over.

I'm pretty sure that Michael broke his collar bone a few years back.
And then the next year, Zak broke his finger... So, while both were at school together for 3 years, they only got to play together for one, last season.

I'm not sure it is possible to get through a whole fall camp without losing someone to injury. It is just a shame that it always happens to a key player for UCA.
