I am worried if there will be a 2020 season due to the corona virus. Plus the whole college football season is in danger at this point. Also many Bearbackers has purchased tickets. How will this mess be straightened out? What do you all think? This is a painful post. Can anyone give me some insight?

Go Bears, Papa

We have 4 home games. Unless you were planning on taking many road trips it won't mean much until the end of the year.

Im praying there will be. I'm a big football fan but Im not very optimistic about it. Its better to just wait and let everything go back to normal before we can start another season.

If CNN, NBC and MSNBC were shut down for a few weeks it would
help with little doubt...

Ehhh.... have to disagree with you. Fox News is one of the better ones. Even though no news outlet is perfect.

I'm as bad about "filtering" as anyone but got this off Hogville.

FYI: Media Bias Chart

https://www.adfontesmedia.com/?v=402f03a963ba

With The Economist and Business Insider dead center in the "neutral or balanced bias" zone.

That chart is pathetic. ABC is about neutral as MSNBC.

Back to the topic on hand.

I’m hoping UCA gets the first game of the season. I’m making the trip if so.

The average adult in America reads/comprehends at about an eight grade level, and IMO that seems a little high, so not sure it really matters.

Just remember, "simple solutions, for simple minds".

We do need football this fall for sure, and it helps to have a successful Arkansas team to follow and post about on Hogville, so looking forward to another successful season for the Bears.

If it happens you can watch UCA on ESPN to start the year out. Hopefully.

Hope the conference underestimates us again. Honestly think this would have been our run at #4 had Breylin and qb#2 had not been hurt in game 4 in 2018. But oh well....I want some playoff success too!

Welcome to Seminole!!

Fall football looking pretty iffy...……..hope it works but who knows at this point...…...hope we do not lose our trip to Mizzou....this would be a great year to play them...…….we really need to capitalize on the talent and experience we now have and get to the FCS title game.....

Just looking at who is returning, and the recruits added, think it is safe to say that UCA is in the best shape of all the Arkansas Division 1 teams as far as their prospects for a successful 2020 season, if there is one.

Well since the last post here was nearly a month ago, I`ll chime in now. I`m beginning to think it may happen. Not sure I agree 100% with it, but if it does, I`ll damn sure be in attendance. What a SWEET recruiting class!!!
I wouldnt risk my life for football-----unless it was for the UCA Bears!!!!!!LOL

Central Arkansas head football coach Nathan Brown, quarterback Breylin Smith and cornerback Robert Rochelle talk with 103.7 The Buzz's Justin Acri about a variety of topics around the offseason and what's ahead for the Bears as they look to repeat at Southland Conference Champions in 2020.
