Impractical to have spring cross country season along with either indoor track or outdoor track seasons.

What a mess.

The November election will determine if this pandemic remains or goes away.
Either way...we're screwed.

One thing I can absolutely guarantee is conspiracy theories will not help

Let’s act like adults. This sucks on every possible level, but this certainly isn’t new in terms of human history.

The average American adult reads, comprehends, and thinks at a little less than an 8th grade level-- near the bottom as far as developed countries, so IMO they are acting like adults. At least what passes for adults in America, and we are all paying the price.

and this totally stupid belief that this virus will go away after the election, is probably why many schools will be forced cancel spring sports too.

Stupidity can kill, so you guys and gals that can think beyond the 8th grade level better wake up and look around or you are gong to let those than can't get you into more trouble than they already have.

In the mean time wear your mask, and/or keep a safe distance if you can.

My daughter is considered a front line medical care giver. RN that is and a UCA Bear. This virus is not a hoax. It is real. You can't see, smell, taste, or feel it. I have been instructed by my doctor and two RN's to refrain from going to Alabama because of high infection rates there. Now that really stinks. I think that once there is a vaccine in place we can get back to some normalcy. I believe that football should be pushed to the spring. Player safety comes first. I hate this for everyone.

Go Bears

Let the players play! Most of the guys want to play, even if it's a shorten season. Hope we can fill the schedule up. Looking forward to seeing the Austin Peay game on ESPN. Could be a big game for recruiting for UCA. I think it will be better if we just continue with as much as we can while being safe. (FYI, before anyone tries to pull the I'm a doctor card, I work at a Hospital.)

Sometimes the truth hurts and the people who
Think they have all the answers don’t want to
hear it.

The Swine flu killed quiet a few if I remember
correctly but the nation wasn’t shut down because
of it. Certain news outlets ignored it because their
Guy was in charge.

I understand it’s a bad thing for some people who
are infected as are many diseases and I am doing
everything I can to avoid it.

I certainly don’t need your approval for anything I
decide to do or as to what my beliefs are. If
You want to classify me as an EIGHTH GRADER,
go right ahead...I’ll keep my opinion of you to
myself.

COVID has about 13 times the death rate that the Swine Flu did.

Granted those are nearly all either old people or those with pre-existing conditions. I really don't get why people act like these young football players getting it would be the end of the world...but it is more dangerous than a lot of viruses we've seen before.

Actually functioning at an eight level would make you above average so stop bragging, we can't all be eggheads.

Some 52% of all Americans (global literacy rate: 49%) have basic or below-basic reading skills. That means they can read and write at a basic, or fourth- to fifth-grade level.

Guess who is returning to the Natural State to coach Missouri State against UCA in Conway on Oct 17? The big man himself.

A conspiracy theory about the virus going away because of who gets elected is not the “the truth”. Grow up

We have a choice of a proven good dude and family man that listens and is real, or a clueless  fart that has had almost everything (especially his riches) given to him from his date of birth, and that doesn't have a clue about what the COMMON MAN has to go through.
This election isn't about party and/or policies for me. Its about common decency. The current POTUS has NONE.
Sorry for the political post. I wont do it again or respond to anything.

I am looking forward to Bobby Petrino coming to Conway. The bears have the opportunity to be the first Arkansas team to embarrass him.
