Does anyone have any idea of a QB Depth Chart for the Fall? I also thought Breylin Smith was a Redshirt Senior this year? 1st year he redshirted, next 3 he has played. So that makes this his 4th year? Anyway, this is what I am currently seeing as far as depth chart. Feel free to drop your opinions.

1. Breylin Smith
2. Luke Hales
3. Hunter Eskola (Possible starter when Breylin and Luke leave)
4. Darious Bowers (Will challenge Hunter Eskola I am assuming)
5. Hunter Lloyd (Will Redshirt I am guessing) (Maybe see playing time as a junior?)
6. Tyler Gee (Will Redshirt I am guessing) (Backup to Hunter Lloyd untill proven otherwise?)

Looks like it will be a future battle between Hunter L. and Tyler. Also, I do think the SID has the roster wrong with the year classifications. Some of those just don't add up.

From the roster:

#3 Breylin Smith-JR. Likely starter. Has two seasons left.
#10 Luke Hales- JR. Likely backup. Has two seasons left.
#17 Darius Bowers- R/FR. Likely third or possibly backup. It's up to him. Has 4 seasons left.
Hunter Eskola doesn't have a number. PLAY?!?
Hunter Loyd is a freshman. Likely redshirt.
Tyler Gee is a commit for next year.

Breylin redshirted one year and one year he got hurt and had surgery if I'm not mistaken and got a medical shirt for that year. So I believe that's why he has 2yrs left to play.

Ooops my bad, thanks for correcting me on Tyler Gee! I wonder if we could possibly see Darius Bowers transfer? He had a walk on offer from the Razorbacks. Could we see Luke Hales transfer to another FCS school or maybe D2? Love this UCA Depth! Is Hunter Eskola a walk on?

Hope none transfer....this looks deep but two plays mean you are playing with a QB who has never taken a college game snap......I watched Loyd play at Rogers the last few years.......pretty big, better than avg runner for a passing QB and can really throw the ball........coaches son ............Mounties were reduced much of the season to throw virtually every play as running backs were injured.......yet still put up huge offensive numbers......a redshirt year should be invaluable to learn offense and observe Breylin every day.......

Have never seen Bowers play but he always seems to get very strong reviews.....

Really need Hales on the depth chart....he has been a stalwart and will very likely get his game snaps in important situations.....

Go Bears!!

Seen Smith still shaking off the rust throwin 10% below his avg for last 2 years.

Sure that will tick up over the weeks.

No spring practice and only 2 weeks practice before playing Austin Peay... I expect a little rusty. Hopefully he will improve in the ASU game.

Yeah for sure. Why I am waiting for the Arkansas game to show up on here.

The pass rush might get exposed again, but if Smith has a game there could be an upset.

Long shot, but just glad there is football on!
