With the SEC releasing their full schedule tomorrow and Brad Teague actively seeking opponents, there appears to at least be an attempt at football thus fall.

With the addition of a one time, same year home and home with Missouri st that’s four scheduled games this far:

I’m hearing potential contests with eastern Kentucky, ten st, ten Martin, Murray st, and basically regional OVC and MVFC schools (haven’t heard Ill st., but that would be a fun rematch). Also, more fbs schools are definitely not out of the question, but one concern is the need to play at home.

I'm hearing the schedule might look like this and there might be only 3 home games. (Missouri State, Eastern Kentucky and Stephen F Austin)

Teague said 2 home games and 7 road games will be released at 10 am tomorrow.

I don’t think SFA is on the schedule but definitely hearin EKU. Should be interesting.

Oh ok because I was hearing that those teams and home/away games was potentially who they might be playing this season. So the source was pretty close though lol.

UCA's athletic director confirms Bears were willing to play NDSU

FARGO - North Dakota State had at least one opponent that was willing to play the Bison this fall.

University of Central Arkansas athletic director Brad Teague confirmed Wednesday his school was the one. "NDSU did contact us. My initial response was we're looking for proximity (regional) games. " Teague said on Dom Izzo's Hot Mic show on 970 WDAY-AM and WDAY Xtra.

"Time went by maybe a week and I called Matt Larsen and told him we would love to come up there now. We were the only team they could find to play which is too bad, they couldn't play a whole season and practice for one game. So Central Arkansas was coming to Fargo if they could have found the full three games and we were excited about it." Teague said.

NDSU athletic director Matt Larsen was asked about scheduling during a meeting with the media on Monday. "We just couldn't get three schools to agree. We had one school that was willing to come up here. Our conversations were we wanted to get to three games. They were willing to play to come up to North Dakota State, so credit to them."

Memphis would be a fun game to watch. UCA would play them close, and it's not too bad of a drive.

It would appear 1 more FBS and a home and home with EKU is next, but not 100% on that. Situation looks fluid.

I'm excited for football, but only two home games at the most? SMH.

UCA picks up a home-n-home with Eastern Kentucky.

NDSU might still be a possibility this season as well.

NDSU program has already stated they are NOT playing this fall. Not enough games. Most of their seniors are not coming back either.

But I just gotta know where you are getting this info!

Never reveal your source because you then will not ever have the inside information again. Anyway the NDSU game is still in discussions as we speak but everyone is trying to get it to work. Might be done moved on from anymore potential FBS teams at the moment. SFA was wanting the Bears to come to their place but I don't see that happening.
