I have no doubt the Bears come out on top of this one!! Can't wait!

Even though we have an awesome QB, I feel like our running game is going to have to get going for us to pull away. I am thinking something like 31-24. UCA pulls out ahead early, but plays a nail biter when APSU tries to come back at the end. GO BEARS!

In spite of this being game week for the Bears, let's keep our friends in south LA and adjacent Texas areas in our thoughts as the hurricane heads into the Lake Charles/Beaumont area today and tonight...hoping the Cowboys and Cardinals avoid harms way as well as the Rajun Cajuns, Lions and Colonels.....

Anyone heard of travel changes? If the team leaves Friday, they could be delayed due to flooding.

Mississippi getting hit pretty hard with wind (maybe tornadoes) and rain today......I assume Bears travel tomorrow.....about 7-8 hour trip.....

I wish they would have left this morning. That way they could have rested tonight and practice tomorrow or something. Yes, I know that would have been an extra night of cost, but still. Big game on Saturday. Possibly will help UCA in future recruitment and exposure.

Are we in good shape injury wise?

As always it seems we have to have decent running attack to slow the rush down or we better be very good with screens (hard in early games due to precision of execution that is needed). Hoping OL is much improved as I think we lost to I-State because we could not give Breylin that extra second....

Good to have Hayden Ray back as special teams will probably play a big role.......what do we know about our new transfer punter?

How solid are our DBs, especially backups? Rochell cannot do it all by himself. Lots of new names at LB corps but some good experience back.

D-Line looks to have pretty good experience back esp at DE....depth is always key to keep fresh legs in the game........looking for Grant to have a big year at DE.....

It may come down to who plays better on the road........APU was 11-4 last year with losses to two ranked FCS teams........UCA and Montana State (playoffs)...but also two what had to be disappointing very close losses to Eastern Tennessee and to Tennessee State......they had road wins at Mercer, Tenn Tech, Eastern Kentucky, Murray State and ranked Sac State (playoffs).....road losses at ETSU, TSU and ranked MT State in playoffs.......so they were 5-3 on the road....6-1 at home......

I can't see APSU putting up many points. It could be a defensive struggle like last year.

More experience at O-Line doesn't exactly translate to better. If the issues that plagued our line persist, this will be 2019 verse 2. Still would expect a win saturday, but we may run into some big time problems with this schedule.

No one has mentioned Brandon Myers. He's back, right?
