The most prestigious FCS opponent we have played (no offense to our SLC foes) ...........a great opportunity to play well and be noticed........

Any one have a scouting report on NDSU other than they will really be good?

Hope we are healthy..............and that offense does not hide anything..... we should use this game like a playoff game which we really need to get better at playing......

I'd rather play this game then an abbreviated spring season with a faux championship on the line. However, my excitement has waned since the offensive showing vs. Missouri St. Maybe the team was looking forward a bit...

I think the defense will play well and keep it close for at least a little bit. However, I simply do not see the offense being able to move the ball with any consistency to make us a threat to win. Like with our other games, we will have to create scoring chances with turnovers or special teams.

By far the best FCS opponent we have ever faced. I would say one of the better teams we have ever faced regardless of level. Great experience and looking forward to watching.

Hi Guys and Go Bison!

Looking forward to this game, lots of great press nationally for NDSU/Trey Lance , but that will help Central Arkansas too. To get to play in front of 25+ NFL scouts should feel amazing for all the players on both sides.

we had 8500 fans going, but got the rug pulled out from under us tuesday, so the fanbase is pretty pissy..

NDSU will be great on offense, but Defense has always been the core of NDSU's success.

will any of you be posting in game on this thread?

Normally do ....hope we have something to about......we so often fall behind early due to sluggish offense and soft defense.......then use heroics to make frantic race to get back...........does not work well vs good teams.... defense usually key to wins with stops to give offense ball back....we normally have good defensive end play and usually a very good DB or two......offense revolves around QB getting ball to WRs Tyler Hudson and Lujuan Winningham and using TEs wisely.......

We have made huge improvements on o-line (some in size but mostly depth) in past 3-4 yrs but not yet to the level to be really good.......

Special teams play usually a big positive in field position...........

Big question to me is can we have a decent run game and win turnovers.....

So far so good in Q1..........

Breylin Smith is a hometown guy from Conway and offensive Arkansas player of year in his senior season...he started off really well at UCA with lots of accuracy....then was injured against Sam Houston State....I do not think he has ever been as accurate but a gamer........does not often run but big enough and fast enough to do so when needed.....Coach Brown probably wants him to use his receivers which we usually have an abundance of....Smith is also a real life competitive cowboy.....pretty tough guy......probably would fit in with his cowboy counterparts in ND...Go Bears!!
