Hello my fellow Bearbackers,
Is there any talk of stadium renovations? Estes is in desperate need of a face lift. Turf needs replaced, seats are faded out. I am just curious.

Not sure, but both basketball and football need some renovations for sure. I think they are trying to recover from spending all the money on audio and video last year. Keep us updated if you hear anything. Surprised the alumni base is not strong enough. Especially with some bigger names still in the sports world.

From what I gather, the money is just not there.

The school just went through some tough budget cuts. Athletics had to cut as well.

Unless they have a boat load of private money stuck off somewhere, IMHO, it ain't happening.

The post above, however, is correct....both facilities need some renovations.

Can anyone tell me why more fans don't sit on the other side of the field on either side of the students? Seems like great seating and a way to add more noise. Seems like it's better than sitting at the top of the upper deck.
