February 3, National Signing Day - look forward to seeing the new bears !

Looking forward to it. This will be a big step in our move to the ASUN. Looks like we may not need a QB in this class, or maybe only 1? Especially with what we have now for competition and Tyler Gee signing back in December. I know we could use depth at all the WR position, a big OL guy wouldn't hurt either. No idea on Defense. I am sure we will probably sign a good class all around.

New Bears for a new age in Bears Football.....Go Bears!!

Current roster shows QBs as below:


Breylin Smith,6'3,210 (Conway)......numero uno

Hunter Loyd, 6'3,200 (Rogers)....similar to Breylin at same stage....good arm, can run well and game smart.....

Luke Hales, 6'2,225 (Greenwood).....a known quantity who has been invaluable as backup

Darius Bowers,6'2,185(Fayetteville)....did not get to see Darius in high school (my bad) but Fayetteville like Conway is always explosive on offense....threw for 3000 and 27 TDs as a senior at Fville....certainly a dual threat

Suspect we would want at least one more.....maybe a transfer and maybe another freshman

We also have Tyler Gee, QB from Cabot who signed late last year.

I got to see many of his games this year due to various events in my life. Kid is good and after a year of training at the D1 level he should be good to go IMO.

I am excited about Breylin too but Hales and Bowers really are good QBs. I'd make either of them the starter any day. IMO.
