The athletic department posted this on its site a couple of days ago. Papa Bears had it down pretty well. Five home games.

September 11th----------@ Missouri State----------TBA

September 18th-------------Arkansas Pine Bluff-----6 p.m.

September 25th-------------Sam Houston State-----6 p.m.

October 2nd----------------@Abilene Christian-------TBA

October 16th-----------------Eastern Kentucky-------6 p.m.

October 23rd----------------@Lamar-------------------TBA

October 30th----------------@Jacksonville State-------TBA

November 6th----------------Texas Wesleyan-------3 p.m.

November 13th--------------Stephen F. Austin------3 p.m.

Novmeber 20th--------------@Tarleton State---------TBA

From what I found, yes they are.

In fact, when I first saw them on the schedule, I figured it was a D-II program. Well, I was wrong.

I would guess that being such a late date most everyone in booked with conference games or just do not want another road game late in season on an otherwise off day...weird season with the conference changes....Go Bears!!

The last time I checked we are D-I. IMHO, playing an NAIA school is just not acceptable.

I have a feeling this wasn't our only option... This is one of those games where the 2nd string should be in at halftime and maybe even 3rd string in the 4th quarter. We should be able to put up some big numbers in the first half.

There is no way UCA couldn't have found a D1 FBS, D1 FCS, or even a D2. Heck, this isn't even D3! It's NAIA! Hendrix could beat this team, and Lyon does many years.
