Any preseason predictions you want to go ahead and throw out? Here is what I am currently guessing:

2021 Schedule (all games on Saturday)

9/4: @Arkansas State, TBA-L

Loss, but UCA keeps it close for 3 quarters. A-State finally gets in a rhythm and wins by 3 touchdowns.

9/11: @Missouri State, TBA-W

Win, close game once again, but UCA wins by 7

9/18: UAPB, 6pm-W

Win, UCA rolls and scores at least 42 on offense. The question is how much the defense will let UAPB score.


9/25: Sam Houston State, 4pm (Family Day/Band Day)-W

Win, UCA wins on a last second field goal from 45 yards out. Game goes back and forth with no real pull away at any time.

10/2: @Abilene Christian, TBA-W

Win, UCA rolls and gets some time for the backup QB. Abilene Chrstian's QB just can't get going.


10/16: Eastern Kentucky, 4pm (Hall of Fame Game)-W

Win, UCA gets down at the half, but comes back with a last second touchdown. Begins a new rivalry of sorts.

10/23: @Lamar, TBA-W

UCA by 21. Not sure exact score, but Lamar struggles on offense

10/30: @Jacksonville State, TBA-L

UCA struggles on road and loses by 14. Injuries plague Bears

11/6: Texas Wesleyan, 4pm (Homecoming)-W

UCA wins huge and second string gets playing time. Third string plays at end of 4th quarter. Records of some sort are broken.

11/13: Stephen F Austin, 4pm (Senior Day/Military Appreciation Day)-W

W, UCA wins a close one by a field goal.

11/20: @Tarleton State, TBA-L

UCA drops a season end heartbreaker unexpectedly. UCA gears up for playoffs. Can they succeed in post season? Tarleton State loses to D2 school last season btw.

Overall I am seeing 8-3 after doing some digging. Really think 7-4 is also a big possibility as long as we stay healthy. Can't really see 9 wins for some reason. Too many big games. Worst case is 6-5 and missing the playoffs I think. I hope this is the year for us to make some noise in the playoffs though.
