Located in St Charles, Mo near St Louis.....they used to host the old St Louis Football Cardinals summer camp....

Founded in 1827 as a school for young women...private university....about 7000 enrollment with about 30% post-undergrad students...became co-ed in 1969...joined NAIA in 1980....the Lou Brock Sports Complex on campus is home to the LU baseball and softball teams...overlooks Missouri River....

They seem to have a version of The Stripes with alternating light green and dark green....

Somewhat like a UCA but as a private school.....male/female mix, teacher school history and tradition, good size school in a nice size city (about 70,000) not far from larger metro area...historic buildings, showcases their campus appearance...

Plenty of good recruiting areas...both STL and KC metro areas....

Lost 2000 NAIA women's soccer championship game by 1-0 to Simon Fraser...during 15 years in NAIA Heart of America Conference won 128 team titles....averaged 8.5 per year....at one time during NAIA period sponsored 45 sports...moved to NCAA D2 in 2011....competed in MIAA until 2019 when they joined Great Lakes Valley Conference....announced in Feb 2022 a move to FCS and the OVC....

This is Lindenwood's first year of transitioning from the DII to DI level. We beat them last week 49-28. We were without 3 linebackers for that game. They have a good qb and a decent offense. They will take what you give them on offense. Their defensive line just doesn't have the size or strength yet to go up against the offensive lines of better FCS teams. We put up 684 yds. of offensive against them including 372 net yds. rushing. The week before UT-Martin put up 541yds. of offense including 343 yds. rushing. The 4th quarter is when you can really take advantage of the mis-match in lines. I make you guys about a 17 point favorite. Great win against Austin Peay last week. I loved that beat down you put on them. G/L (not that you'll need it) LOL

I was wrong on my prediction last week … let’s see if I can do it again.
The Bear running game has 66 yards total the past two games.
Don’t see them getting 300+ this week.

GO BEARS
