One thing is for sure.....something will change...

Lets we forget......in our first year in transition to FCS we beat several programs ahead of us in the NCAA.....we were 5-3 vs FCS teams.....one of those was Georgia Southern (in OT at their place) who has since gotten over their down period and are now in FBS....

In Year 2 were 6-4 vs FCS including a TV game win v Texas State by 63-21....the Bobcats recovered from that embarrassment to move into FBS......

I'll bet there were a certain level of disgruntlement in Statesboro and San Marcos after those losses....

Excellent point JRK… I guess its the fact that this group
has so much potential that leads to disappointment with the outcome.
No doubt this team is talented. Still have 5 remaining games

Good to see the recogntion....Wilson had a very busy day and the sack was a beautiful play for sure....INTs always a big deal.....nice to see Owens get the TD catch.....good to see Bryant and McGehee represented!!

CONWAY, Ark. _ Two more University of Central Arkansas Bears received ASUN Conference weekly honors in football on Monday.

Sophomore safety TaMuarion Wilson was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week and freshman tight end Jordan Owens was named the ASUN Freshman of the Week.

Wilson, a 6-foot-2, 205-pounder from Bryant (Ark.) High School, finished with a career-high 13 tackles, including eight solo stops, against Lindenwood University on Saturday at First Security Field at Estes Stadium. He added a four-yard sack and intercepted a pass and returned it 17 yards.

Owens, a 6-6, 255-pounder from McGehee (Ark.) High School, made the most of his first career reception, a 10-yard touchdown pass from Will McElvain in the second quarter.

UCA returns to ASUN action this weekend, facing the Kennesaw State Owls on the road in Kennesaw, Ga. Game time is noon (CT).
