I'm tired of this playing in a half conference. We need to join C-USA or go back to the Southland or make application to the OVC. What do you all think.

I think we should remain patient OVC and Southland aren’t all that desirable either. Remember Southland no longer has Sam, SFA, and ACU. You have Big Sky, CAA, and Missouri Valley then our temporary ASUN/WAC. Every other conference is a step back in FCS.

Listen do I love ASUN/WAC no, but ASUN alone has plenty of schools for Olympic sports, if we just add two, example Gardner Webb and Charleston Southern from Big South Conference that is also in same situation with too few football schools then our problem is solved. SEMO or another Tennessee school (Tennessee Tech or Chattanooga) would be nice additions if we could somehow convince them. While at the same time the FBS conference realignment will continue and we remain in the discussion for a call up.

Coach Carthal (SFA Coach) says the five WAC football teams will merge with the ASUN teams and form a football conference. And maybe in a few years we all move up to FBS.
