Could ShunDerrick Powell be a Top 5 UCA Running Back of all time as far as skill? We will only have 2 years out of him, but man I am excited to see what his speed can do. Not sure why he transferred out of North Alabama, unless it was being closer to home thing.

Not sure about the speed, will wait and see.

If he’s got elite speed he would have probably
gone to a P5 program. I’m sure he’s fast…
but we will find out on gameday. I’m sure hoping
he is.

He is a smaller than the average running back , but with freakish speed. I’ll be curious how they use him.

He's got elite speed. Fastest guy on the team per fellow RB Kylin James. Had PLENTY of FBS offers. It's gonna be super interesting to see how they mix up the playbook with 3 elite FCS level running backs on the field.

Saw an interview with him on Blue Bloods.
He has some lofty goals for this season.
2000 rushing
1000 receiving
30 TOUCHDOWNS

Came across as a team first guy.
He desperately wants a Conference championship.

Hopefully he has a great year…
but there is another All American RB
in the room. Darius Hale has been a steady
force. Broken more long runs than any back
the Bears have had in a long stretch. He also
has a nasty habit of scoring Touchdowns. :lol:

I will go out on a limb and say that yes the young man has elite speed!! Did y’all see him moving against OSU wowwww he can fly! He’s got that Jesse Grandy speed!

We know what Powell did against us last year....impressive RB....but we also know what Hale and James can do...hope we can put all three into good positions to do good things...that can put a lot of pressure on defenses when you can always have a AA level fresh RB in the game...sure will open some passing lanes if LBs have to protect the run....
